History

1982  - Industrial Ropes was originally formed as an export company within Ropequip Limted of Swanley, Kent.

1984 – Industrial Ropes opened in Montrose as a Wire Rope wholesale company serving the Offshore Industry.

1990 – A subsidiary branch was formed at Ambergate in Derbyshire to service the English Wire Rope wholesale market.

2001 – Industrial Ropes was acquired by Ropequip Nederland BV.

2007 – Rotherham branch became operational.
